Catholic Charities of Staten Island provides comprehensive services to vulnerable persons throughout Staten Island. Our South-Shore campus at Mount Loretto supports a multitude of programs for persons with disabilities. Our services include Day Habilitation, Supplemental Day Habilitation (OPTS), Supportive Employment, and residential services for adults with Intellectual Disabilities. CCSI also operates a Day Care and a Universal Pre- Kindergarten and youth programs thru the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) for all of Staten Island. The CYO center offers an array of sports activities and community-building programs for children and teenagers. CCSI oversees a community center, multiple fields, and indoor and outdoor basketball courts for Staten Island community and school-based sports leagues. In addition, our Mount Loretto campus also hosts other facilities including two public schools managed by the NYC Department of Education a not-for-profit agency-run Senior Center, a non-profit food pantry, counseling services, two youth summer day camps, including one for children with cancer and their siblings. Additionally, we host various popular community events throughout the year such as our NCAA event, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Food Truck Festival, Italian Festival, Pumpkin Festival and Winter Festival. Our North-Shore programs include two senior centers under the NYC Department for the Aging, social service case management programs under the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, CYO sports and community-building programs, and a variety of emergency food programs including a mobile food pantry and a food hub.
