Dr. Olena Ronan was born in Ukraine and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. During high school, she developed a passion for dentistry while shadowing a local dentist. She started shadowing simply because she was looking for an extracurricular activity to put on her college resume; she didn’t expect to fall in love with the field of dentistry! Dr. Ronan became so interested and passionate about dentistry, that she decided to pursue it as a career before she even started college. Dr. Ronan attended City University of New York, Hunter College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. From there, Dr. Ronan attended New York University, College of Dentistry to complete her dental education

However, after completing dental school, Dr. Ronan became discouraged with the field of dentistry, as every associate position she held constrained her in how she could treat patients. She knew that in order to practice according to her ethics and standard of care, she would need to open up a practice of her own! This is where the idea of Staten Island Dental Boutique was born.

Today, her goal is to provide patients with a comfortable environment in which they can receive exceptional care while learning about how to care for their smiles. Dr. Ronan will always do everything in her power to answer questions, help you understand any treatment, and empower you to make the best decision for your smile according to your lifestyle, budget, and personal goals. She always upholds the principles of honesty, transparency, and communication. Therefore, she vows not to commit to any treatment unless the patient themselves understands and is confident that this is the correct treatment for them.
