The Staten Island Business Outreach Center’s (SIBOC) mission is to provide technical assistance to business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, and local residents and job seekers to ensure their individual growth thereby providing sustainable economic growth on Staten Island.  As such, we empower low- and moderate-income people through a combination of business and workforce assistance such as one-on-one counselling, business plan development, financial literacy,  resume writing and interviewing skills, seminars, workshops, and assistance with M/WBE certification, contracting, and related help.

Staten Island Business Outreach Center (SIBOC) is a Woman Business Center (WBC) a resource partner of U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The BOC Women’s Business Center (WBC) offers business training, one-on-one counseling and financing resources to help women entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. By educating and empowering underserved minority and women entrepreneurs, the WBC contributes to the economic, cultural, and social vitality of our communities.

SIBOC offers FREE Programs to assist all new entrepreneurs and existing businesses. Our one-on-one business counseling and seminars on timely business topics are available to all Staten Islanders.

SIBOC works with small businesses and community members to promote the vitality of our Town Centers. We administer and founded the First Business Improvement District on Staten Island, the Forest Avenue BID. We work with businesses within the and Castleton Avenue Merchants Organization (CAMO) of Staten Island, NY.

SIBOC also provides programs designed to address quality of life issues in the Staten Island  community.
