Located on Staten Island’s North Shore, the Pavilion on the Terrace® is one of the last remaining Greek revival mansions from that era. It was first constructed as a glorious home in 1835 by famed developer Mark Davies. It later became a hotel and in 1910, the Knights of Columbus began using the building until 1965. Later that year, the building was converted to a catering hall which became known as “The Pavilion on the Terrace”.

In 1994, the building received designation from the city Landmarks Preservation Commission. It remained a catering hall until 2005, and then abruptly closed and became abandoned and experienced severe deterioration for over eight years.

Luckily, in 2013, the building was purchased by its new owner, Kecia Juanita Weaver, Esq., the sole owner, who after subsequent years of painstakingly renovating the Pavilion to its former glory and fighting arduous government bureaucracy and red tape, resurrected the “old lady” to her former glory and prestige.

The ‘new’ Pavilion on the Terrace® under Kecia’s leadership and vision, gives patrons a sophisticated and elegant venue that can perfectly host any special event. Her dedicated and experienced banquet hall staff will attend to every detail and assure a memory that you will always cherish–making your event not only Special but truly SO AMAZING℠!
