Project Caribbean Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit cultural arts education and entertainment organization established and registered in New York State with its offices in Staten Island. Project Caribbean Inc. seeks to established partnerships with Caribbean centric organization to help bring awareness to the rich, lush history of Caribbean arts and culture as well as to promote its benefits and contributions to the diverse cultures in our local community, the United States, and the world. Through dedicated interactions with local Caribbean communities and others to establish and promote programs which encourage youth and adults, including the advancement of healthy lifestyles and improved community involvement.
Guided by our values of equity, integrity, growth, and community, Project Caribbean, Inc. seeks to create and to foster a caring and socially conscious community empowered through the beauty of the arts and diverse educational and cultural programs including dance, film, fashion, music, theatre, visual arts, entertainment and environmental and civic engagement which includes outreach programs such as food support for the needy, and disaster relief. We will seek to work with civic leaders to create and enhance safe and fun spaces within our community for our children and their families so as to connect and celebrate their rich and unique arts and culture. Fostering and empowering youths and their families and insuring that low income individuals have access to high quality arts education and programs are paramount to our organization so that they can enrich their lives and have a legacy to pass down through generations. We believe that by teaching children and adults using a cross-cultural approach with an emphasis on Caribbean culture will help to build a cohesive community.
